Due to the location of the 3-way toggle switch, wiring up a Les Paul is a two-part process where the wiring from the toggle switch is routed through a channel in the body that runs diagonally from the toggle switch, behind the pickups to the control cavity where it is then connected to the Volume pots and output jack. This typically involves having to make a half dozen additional solder joints in the control cavity which can often be a showstopper for those considering upgrading their wiring.
Taking a queue from the Gibson QuickConnect system, we’ve added the same 5-pin connector to the toggle switch assembly (we’re calling it the “Prewired Toggle Switch Module”) which mates to a corresponding custom 5-pin wiring assembly in the control cavity that is handwired directly to the Volume pots, output jack and common ground (the “Control Cavity Module”). One slim, discrete connector is all it takes now to connect and complete the circuit between the toggle switch and all of the components in your control cavity! Simply wire up your pickups and you’re all set!
Modular Les Paul Plug&Play kits are available in standard CTS short shaft (3/8” SAE & M8 Metric pots) and push/pull wiring & long shaft configurations (SAE only).

NOTE: Certain import guitars - namely Epiphone - will have metric holes that will need to be drilled/reamed out to accommodate the 3/8” CTS pot shafts.
